MRFC Practice Field Scheduling

 

All practice field requests for training sessions will be scheduled through the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator. To request field time for either grass or turf training sessions you must email the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator Sheryl Pringle. Include your Team name, gender, age, field or venue preferred, day of week preferred, time slot preferred and team contact. Field venue, date and time confirmation will be sent to you via email.

    Grass Field Practice Venues
  • Southwood Fields (Enumclaw) - The MRFC Practice Field Coordinator will be working with the Cascade Foothills Practice Field Coordinator to confirm field layouts and scheduling at Southwood. Send your request to the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator via email. Fields 1 and 2 are not available for use.
  • McAlder Elementary (Sumner)
  • Sumner Middle School Practice Field #1 (Sumner)
  • Sumner Middle School Practice Field #2 (Sumner)
  • Lakeridge Middle School Practice Field (Bonney Lake)

 

To check on availability of fields, open dates and times for the above Sumner Schools.

 

You will see all of the venues listed as well as dates and times available. Send your request to the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator via email. Please double check SSC Website to confirm your requested dates and times.

 

  • Mountain View Middle School Football Field (Bonney Lake) Limit for this field will be 1 team with 2 practices per week. Sumner High School West Field (Sumner)

 

Turf Field Practice Venues

 

MRFC turf field venues include White River High School, Bonney Lake High School and Sunset Stadium at Sumner High School. The MRFC Practice Field Coordinator will coordinate with the School Districts and their Athletic Directors.

"Open Field Time" symbols (r) and (n/r) defined on MRSA Calendar

 

Open field time (r) means that field time has already been reserved and blocked out by MRFC thru the School District. These time slots are available for use. If you wish to utilize this time frame you will need to send a request into the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator.

 

Open field time (n/r) means that field time has not been reserved or blocked out by MRFC thru the School District. These time slots are also available for use. If you wish to utilize this time frame you will need to send a request into the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator so they can submit a request to the School District Athletic Director.

 

Scheduling and Cancellations

 

To check on availability of fields, open dates and times for the above turf fields.

 

Submit your request to the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator via email. A "7 Day Notice" is required to schedule any turf field. A "3 Day Notice" is required when you cancel a training session at any turf venue whether lighted or not. Your team will be charged for the time if the cancellation notice is not received by either email or phone by the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator.

To check on turf field use and to confirm your scheduled turf time for any of the turf field venues.

 

All turf requests will be posted on MRSA calendar. Please double check to confirm your requested dates and times. Double checking your practices on a weekly basis may reduce any team billing discrepancies at year end.

 

April thru October Turf Field requests: All U-11 through U-13 teams will be scheduled in 1/3 field time slots. All U-14 through U-18 teams will be scheduled in 1/2 field time slots.

 

November thru March Turf Field requests: All teams will be moving to the lighted turf fields for training.

 

Field Use Information

 

Field Issues

 

Please be respectful of fellow teams. Do not start practices earlier than your scheduled start time and depart the field promptly when your time has ended. This is especially true when you are utilizing the turf fields and lights due to the costs. If an issue occurs with another team speak with the other coach to resolve the issue first. If the problem is not resolved then you may contact the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator by phone or email.

 

Lights

 

The lights are automatically programmed to come on 10 to15 minutes prior to your practice start time if you are the first team scheduled for a night training session. The lights are programmed to turn off automatically at the end of your scheduled training time. If you experience problems with the lights, please contact the MRFC Practice Field Coordinator by phone. The MRFC Practice Field Coordinator will make arrangements with the appropriate individuals to resolve the lighting issue.

 

School Snow Days

 

White River High School: This field is closed for use when White River High School is closed due to snow. All practices are canceled at this venue.

 

Sunset Stadium/Bonney Lake High School Both of these venues are still open for use on snow days. It is the responsibility of the Coach to determine if the field is safe and suitable for training. If you determine that the field is not acceptable you must email or call the MRFC Practice Field Scheduler to notify them that you will not be using the field.

 

School Sports

 

School sports and events take priority over all fields.

 

Keep the Fields Clean

 

Sunflower seeds, gum and dogs are not allowed on turf fields. Please pick up trash after each practice or game.
