Greatest Accomplishment of Soccer Coaching Career:
A player who I coached in High School went on to play professionally. He later told me that I was a huge inspiration for his soccer career.
Fun Fact:
I have played soccer for 39 years… and counting. Many of those years were played at the highest level of competition including many national championship teams. After playing for the Washington State Olympic team for 3 years, Sigi Schmid failed to select me for the West Coast Regional Olympic team. I also played professionally for an indoor team in Mississippi in 1988.
If you could have one super power for a day, what would it be and why:
I would use my ability to ‘go back in time’, that way when I play soccer and my body wouldn’t hurt as much.
