Field Scheduling Guidelines-Please take care of the fields, it is your responsibility to clean up after every session.  Dogs are not allowed at the turf fields.

The MRFC Field Scheduler will coordinate with the School Districts and the Athletic Directors, please do not contact them directly.


Grass Field Locations for the 2010-2011 Season - Only the fields listed below have been secured for training for MRFC teams - contact the MRFC Field Scheduler to schedule all training sessions

Buckley Grass Fields (In the White River School District)
White River Middle School Football Field (down the street from WRHS) Available May 3rd thru October 31, 2010..Monday thru Thursday sessions (5-6:30pm & 6:30-8pm slots ONLY)

D. St. Field (Small field off of Main St, not the middle school field)
Available May 3rd thru October 31, 2010 Monday thru Thursday sessions (5-6:30pm & 6:30-8pm slots ONLY)

 

Enumclaw Grass Fields:

Ellenson Park (2550 Farman St) No (The city does not take reservations, first come, first serve basis)

Kibler Ave Church of Christ (2627 Kibler Ave) Grass area behind church, Tuesday/Thursday sessions

MacFarland Park (1401 Chinook Ave) two built in goals (same reservation requirement as Ellenson Park)

Enumclaw Church of the Nazarene (2501 Warner Ave W) Tuesday/Thursday sessions

 
Southwood Elementary School (MRFC Field Scheduler will coordinate sessions thru CFSC Scheduler) - $3.50 per training session


Sumner/Bonney Lake Grass Fields- Only the fields listed below have been or will be secured for training
Sumner School District Grass Field Charges:  Elementary schools $2/hr, Middle Schools $2.50/hr, Highschools $3/hr

Sunset Grass (grass field North of Sunset Stadium) Monday thru Thursday sessions (5-6:30pm and 6:30-8pm slots)--this field available thru July only

McAlder Elementary - Monday thru Thursday sessions (5-6:30pm slots and 6:30-8pm slots)

Mt View Middle School (area next to tennis courts) Monday thru Thursday sessions (5-6:30pm slots and 6:30-8pm slots)

Mt View Middle School Football Field - 1 team, two sessions per week only (Tues/Thurs 6:30-8pm) - no other teams allowed to train here per Sumner School District

**Sumner Middle School will be closed for training until school remodel is complete**

Orting - fields available at Orting Lions Club and possibly thru Orting School District - please contact MRFC Field Scheduler for info

Turf Field Costs (these are subject to change)
Full field rental for 1 hour without lights = $28.00 (or divided by # of teams on field during session)
Full field rental for 1 hour with lights = $45.00 (or divided by # of teams on field during session)

Guidelines to Follow When Requesting Training Sessions

  • MRFC practices will be scheduled based on field availability in the region (i.e. school sports/events always have first choice).
  • The MRFC Field Scheduler will coordinate field availability with clubs in our association (i.e. CFSC, OSC and SSC)
  • All practices will take place on third or half fields so as to accommodate as many requests as possible. 
  • Be aware of your start and end times as practices can be scheduled back to back (i.e. 5-6 PM and 6-7 PM).
  • U10-U12 teams will be given the earlier time slots (i.e. 5pm, 6pm)
  • Teams who play league games on Saturday, will have first choice for a Monday/Wednesday practice schedule.
  • Teams who play league games on Sunday, will have first choice for a Tues/Thurs practice schedule.
  • 1.5 hour time slots will be scheduled May thru October on grass fields (depending on field availability in the region)
  • All MRFC teams will move to 1 hour turf field sessions beginning in November (i.e. after school sports/events  have been scheduled)
  • Every attempt will be made to accommodate special field requests.
Please remember we cannot control the condition of the grass fields.  There are multiple groups in the region that use the same fields that we do.  The school districts will close the fields, at any time they feel necessary, if the fields are determined to be in poor condition.

How to Reserve a Field for a Training Session or Scrimmage
All field reservations must be submitted 3 days in advance to the MRFC Field Scheduler.  Please include your preferred field, day and time in your request.   The MRFC Field Scheduler will then coordinate your request.

How to Cancel a Field Reservation for a training session or scrimmage

If you are the only team scheduled for a session, you must give the MRFC Field Scheduler 3 days notice to cancel the reservation.   This will give the MRFC Field Scheduler ample time to cancel with the athletic office. If you do not meet the 3 day deadline, you may be charged for the field.   If you are sharing the field with other MRFC teams and decide to cancel a reservation, you must give the MRFC Field Scheduler and the other teams 24 hours notice of your cancelled session.  If you do not meet the 24 hour deadline, then you will be charged for that session. 


Viewing Your Field Reservations

All field reservations for training sessions and scrimmages (grass and turf) will be posted on the MRFC calendar. Please double check to confirm your requested dates and times.

Team Budget

The MRFC Field Scheduler will track all field usage by team on a monthly basis.  Team totals will be available at the monthly MRFC board meetings or by contacting the MRFC Field Scheduler by email.

How to Reserve a Field for a League Game

The MRFC Game Scheduler will coordinate all game field reservations with the MRFC Field Scheduler.

Field Issues
Please be respectful of fellow teams. Do not start practices earlier than your scheduled start time and depart the field promptly when your time has ended. This is especially true when you are utilizing the turf fields.  If an issue occurs with another team speak with the other coach to resolve the issue first. If the problem is not resolved then you may contact the MRFC Field Scheduler by phone or email.

 
Turf Field Lights
At White River High School the lights are automatically programmed to come on 10 to 15 minutes prior to your start time if you are the first team scheduled for a training session. At Bonney Lake High School and Sunset Stadium the lights are automatically programmed to turn on 5 minutes prior to your scheduled training session.  If you experience problems with the lights, please contact the MRFC Field Scheduler by phone or email.


School Snow Days
When Sumner School District or White River School District closes school due to snow, all turf fields are also closed.  You will receive an email from the MRFC Field Scheduler confirming this.  If schools are open and turf fields are covered with ice, do not attempt to clear ice from field.
Doing this may damage turf.
